    Only currently affiliated students, faculty and staff of the University of Calgary may gain access to the Makerspace. Anyone may visit the Makerspace during our open hours to see example projects and learn more about our equipment and services. Do It Yourself space where people can gather to create, invent, and learn. This assignment is meant for each student to help in the creation of a makerspace in the Bellevue Elementary School Library. The Library will organise workshops to introduce how to use the equipment provided in the MakerSpace and will invite guest speakers to talk about latest trends of the maker culture. We will provide more information later. You can request for a consultation session on introducing how to use equipment and facilities in the MakerSpace.

    Home. CCLD Makerspace is a free community space at the Steele Memorial Library in Elmira, NY where people of all ages come together to create and learn about technology and crafts. Use your imagination and our equipment to make your creative ideas come alive. Located on the lower level of Thode Library, the Makerspace is a joint effort between McMaster University Library and the Faculty of Engineering, providing a new interdisciplinary experiential learning space where the McMaster community can gather to create, invent and learn.     MAKERSPACE HOURS: Our Makerspace will be available on the 3rd Saturday of each month (September to June). You are welcome to use the Makerspace equipment on your own at other times but staff may not be available to assist you.     Student groups are always drawn to the green screen and recording videos during their makerspace sessions. For years my students have rushed to make Lego Movie Maker, Stickbot, and other platforms to share their research findings. So, it was natural to turn a section of the library into a green room. The Johnson County Library in Kansas has makerspace equipment in their Oak Park and Gardner branches. The spaces are open to patrons of all ages and offer a variety of multimedia creation software, a 3D printer, video equipment, a sewing machine, soldering equipment, and more. The library also holds Mobile Makerspace events at various branches.
